I bought a refurbished 130S 1-1/2 years ago. It is still going strong. The maps are somewhat dated, and except for text-to-speech, it doesn't have any frills. My biggest complaint is the worthless windshield mounting device that comes with it. It is difficult to snap the GPS in and the suction cup doesn't suck (unfortunately).
Get a sandbag mount; holds it on the dash and nobody knows you have a gps when you stash it all.
I got a refurb about 2 yrs ago, the battery drains in about a week when not in use, but it's still works great like #1's. Google mobilism to get free map updates, works great for me, I downloaded and installed the latest map. No probs with my windshield mount, but I keep it clean and put a lot of force on it when I mount it. Another quirk about it, it likes to take you around the block to have you arrive at your destination on the right side of the street.
