Tomtom ONE worked well for me, sold it when I got a car with built in GPS. There are quite a few forums for Tomtom where you can download voices, povs, and other things for it.

The 2nd edition or LE are the ones to get. 3rd edition lacks some features such as itineraries, SD card slot and bluetooth (not sure about bluetooth).
the garmin 200W is only $200 and it's a much better unit.
