refurbished + rebate? take a pass on this. Pay a few bucks more for the original.

btw I was ranting and raving about the OSH $100 rebate last Christmas, which brought this (new) TomTom to $100 from $200, but, alas, the rebate was not fulfilled cuz I didn't turn in the right UPC! wtf! I totally cut it out of the box... still pissed

Got one of these from Radio Shack for $90ish ARB. Haven't gotten the rebate yet.. I like it. Not as much as the XL-S model that I spanked Best Buy on a Radio Shack price match. $300 down to $68.50 they weren't happy about that. I savored the moment.. Stick it to the man...

I got one a while back. looked brand new, perfect condition. Plastic screen protector and no greasy finger prints. I was totally happy with it.

I bought a new one during the last BF for $120 and it's the only GPS I have used. It is very accurate in downtown or the older parts of the city, but is of little use in the newer development of the past five to six years. The MapShare does not seem so effective, or maybe I just don't know the MapShare very well. I wonder if other brands would be any better.
