I was actually looking for a TomTom and a buddy got this one for the same price before the holidays. Reviews say that the 335 model at Costco is practically the same as this one minus the Mexico maps but for $99. Seeing how I don't go south of the border (sts), I'll save my $20 and hit up the local buy mart. damn tax, though, eats into that, but i'll still come out on top!
You're right about the difference between this model and the XL-335S. I have this model and like it, but be aware that it does not have bluetooth or expansion capabilities. If all you are looking for is a basic GPS unit, this will fill your needs nicely.
