Do any of these GPS units have map view? That is a view like looking at a map where you can see parallel roads, other streets etc.

I was traveling with someone and an accident happened ahead, right before our eyes. Closed the road. We did a "U" turn. It kept rerouting us to the closed road. I wanted to find parallel roads. He said it didn't have map view.

I got out the old AAA paper map and found a series of roads that got us around the crash. On the other side, not a car in sight. Were they all following their GPSs?
