I've had a 46" Toshiba for a few years now and I'm happy with it. I've never done a side by side with another brand so I can't say if it's better or worse than any other. But it works and it looks good. Newegg and Best Buy have the 55" Toshiba on sale for not much more than this but it doesn't have internet apps.
