Keep in mind the ram on the GPU is DDR3, and the 350 is just a rebranded 250 is a rebranded 160 (?) (forget the exact one..)
anyway, the 350 was only "upgraded" to take advantage of the DDR5 memory, but since they use old DDR3, it's.. a pig.. at best.
Neat computer, but I wouldn't buy it for that reason alone.
I wouldn't pay $1,350 for ANY laptop. That whole 3D thing sounds like a gimmick to me. Once people realize they don't want to wear sunglasses while watching TV, the whole concept will fade away.
Agreed #2. I hate wearing those glasses even for over an hour at the theater. Besides the lack of content and locked down to a 15 in screen is a fail for me.
3D? Depends on content. I used to be a pilot, and FSX soaring in 3D was dang near like being in the real thing.
Also, I've been taking 3D pictures since '97, so I have plenty of my own stuff (vacations) to keep me happy. Also, Fuji released a 3D camera a while back and just updated it to HD video.. so .. between pictures, games (amazing!) and movies out soon.. it's pretty easy to get your 3D on.
Or wait, this time next year you'll be able to buy a glasses-free solution.. though at a cost of resolution.
Okay, I can see how it would be cool with games. When there are plenty of games to choose from, glasses aren't required, and they can make an Xbox that doesn't self-destruct after two years, I'm in.
I hope you're being facetious, because you're going to be waiting a long, long, long time for any of those things to occur... let alone all 3.
wow i7! i must have it to use the internet and facebook! the guy at fry's said so!
