Agreed #1 - looks like a good deal. I'm finding the following add-in alleviates much of my frustration with Windows 8 "M E T R O Tiles" on the desktop:
Start Is Back uses the native start menu for the desktop that Microsoft hid in Windows 8 and added a few more features to it. It's the real deal and is cheaper than Stardock:
Thanks #3. Just loaded it up. I honestly expect Microsoft to have its shortest time ever between an OS launch and SP1 with Windows 8, with the Service Pack restoring the start button.
I also expect the line at BB's return desk to be out the door on December 26th with Win 8 Desktop/Laptop returns.
