Not much of a deal when they had the 32GB for $10 more a couple of weeks ago. Better off to wait for that one again. They do these every week.
This was $199 last week - same seller on ebay for same item. I did order one and should have it this week.
Moto XOOM is often on sale for about $320 (new, not refurb like this one), and it has 32GB storage and other goodies, and also Android 03 out of the box.
Of course the Thrive does have a full SD card slot. I have the 16GB, dropped in a 32GB card, and have plenty of space for movies, etc.
EBAY -- UGH. HVAC filters -- wrong size. I paid $30 RS using insured/sig req carrier b/c MY fault. New ones had to be stuffed in and cut-up w/ boxcutter to remove. MERV 13 like NASA! No diff from Lowes. No feedback cause all the return screwing around ran out time the limit. Never Ebay again. Cesspool.
I suspect #5 is relaying a negative experience on Ebay, but am not sure. Google translate doesn't yet have a GibberishEnglish option.
I really think this is a BAD deal. The Android world is ripe for a major shakeup and Google is going to lose support from the big players (Amazon has already parted ways). Wait for a year or so .. Samsung is going to take Android tablets in a whole new viable direction (something Google has failed to do). OR if you cannot wait that long ... buy an iPad3 (like I did).
