I like the specs of the Yoga better with the higher res screen and tad bit larger display. Saw them at Lenovo Outlet the other day for $569 -- scratch n dent -- no kidding! I tried to nab one and the browser bombed on me / locked up. After that, the best I could find was $598, but that is still a deal. Waiting to see more of these hit the market now before I jump out of my chair again.
Yoga is pretty good. I got a clean refurb with 8GB for $850 but I am seeing a clean refurb with 4GB for $640 right now. Upgrading RAM to 8GB is easy is easy with a $60 RAM stick from Crucial. Adding an additional 256GB SDD with a $200 Msata SSD from Crucial is a little bit more challenging but not terrible. I already added the SSD and it took about 15 minutes.
Pretty good specs for something that's a lot cheaper than surface pro and Samsung Ativ 700t. The only worry I would have is the unprotected screen.
