    This is a nicely built external unit. Picked one up from Microcenter for $79 back in Spring. Quiet as hell.
    But some caveats for those interested:
    The finish is a fully enclosed plastic case with a black laquer style finish.
    The included cable is woefully short. And the mini USB jack won't fit plugs that are too thick due to the case's sloped sides.
    I couldn't find a way to open this case, looks fully molded over the electronics inside.
