Why compare to a "real SSD"? It goes in a device using this card format, or if you want it for an embedded use as an OS drive volume, you'll be dealing with old tech in a slim OS that doesn't need much in the way of performance... some boot in seconds, others practically instant-on using even older slower CF cards.

Theirs a new CF? format, XQD, just introduced, 1Gbs write speed. Very expensive.
