Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies?

Too long for Senryū,
and the wrong tone for Haiku,
But I still like it.
John Turturro's character was great in this movie. As great as a vasectomy.
sux if u got a blu-ray player .. HD-DVD only ..
Buy the movie or have 2 months unlimted rentals on NetFlix.. or 3.5 months if your a cheap bastard like me w/ the 2 a month plan @ $5..

Why this movie blew:
1) Turturro's character
2) Treating Transformers like they were rodeo cowboy (I almost walked out during the painful scene when they were all trying to hide in the backyard)
3) Badly needed backstory of the Transformers and less Shia/parents antics. THATS's where the story is. Who IS optimus? Why does he hate Megatron. Who the heck is Starscream and why is he second in command.
4) Anthony Anderson playing the same character he always plays. It's getting kinda old
5) Didn't really get to know any of the Transformers. Optimus, maybe. But the decepticons? Did any of them say more than a sentence or two? WTF?
6) Action scenes were decent, but I wanted more wideshots - all the battles had these tight close ups of gears and hydrolics but no 'scale' shots (except the 4 seconds of Optimus and the construction truck falling off the highway)
7) "Soundwave"
8 ) Explain some reason (Hollywood has some creativity left - find a writer) why the transformers stay as the cars they are in the whole movie. Why not have Optimus transform into a semi, then later into a vending machine, then back into a motorcycle.
Why it was an awesome movie
1) Megan Fox is great to look at.
Who gives a burp anyway? Transformers is for homos that haven't grown up from the 1980s. It totally sucks, just like fake horndoggy's mom. *smirk*
Megatron, Starscream, Decepticons, Optimus Prime, etc.
NNEEERRDDS!
You want backstory? You want more seriousness? Just wait for Transformers 2 and 3, which have already been greenlit. Lets hope that Turturro and AAndersons' characters are killed off in the interim.
As for 1, this Transformers fan knows that comic book movies are always a compromise, and is very satisfied with Transformers 1 as a whole.
BOYCOTT this movie till the knockoff Go-Bots get their turn to put out a lame movie. And to one up the Transformers, they will only be on Blu-Ray.
Like all Michael Bay movies...
