I got 1 @ $6.99 and free shipping. I'm going to move the devices that don't need Gigabit connection such as the network printers, VoIP, Internet radio tuner, DTV receiver, AVR, etc. to this switch to free up the ports on my Gigabit switch. It's a steal at this price.
I don't care much about the power savings aspect directly but on passively cooled consumer networking equipment, anything that cuts heat tends to increase capacitor, and so the equipment, lifespan.
