I don't know about these but I have a pair of Netgear XAV101's and if I stream high bitrate video (bluray) across my house it's so choppy its completely unwatchable. Regular DVD's play fine though. I'm using a Seagate Home Theater + to receive the video.
up to 200Mbps, but you wont get anywhere near that even if you plug both adapters into the same outlet.
^ Should still beat wifi for latency and continuity of data flow.
