    #1,
2 of 2 of mine are dead or unreliable enough I won't use them anymore. So buyer beware of these POS.

Rebates on these... Some come some don't. The most recent one I got back bounced at the bank! Then Trendnet sent out an email telling me to send the check to them directly and they would make it good. I have sent it in so we will see if the second check is any good.

Thankfully, TrendNet has ended it's shameful era of arbitrarily denying rebates by percentage. Those rebates were sent to TrendNet directly, whereas now they are at least using a 3rd Party rebate clearing house.
Watch for the 'bankrupt' Phoenix address on rebate forms (yep, TrendNet chose that one), but this particular one uses a different provider.

I'm glad to see we are all getting along, no flaming or ranting and raving.

I've used or set up (family and friends) a couple Trendnet routers. They seem to work well right out of the box.

As far as rebates, good luck!

far as I know Rebate should be applied directly when you purchase. As for Mail in rebates that's another story.
