I bought 3 a couple years ago. Two are still working great for my family members, mine worked great for about a year until I upgraded the firmware and then the wireless signal would go out once a day and require rebooting. Wired routing still worked flawlessly. I paid $10 for one of them and the other two were FAR.

Bought this 2 months ago; have yet to receive the rebate.

Every time the 2.4 gHz cordless phone rings, my wifi connection is dropped. Never happened with the linksys wrt54 router in the same place with the same phone.

Trendnet is at the bottom rug of the ladder, next to netgear. If this were $10 with no rebate then it would've been a deal as a temporary router until you find a good deal on a serious one.

This router is a POS! Good only if you are within 20 feet of it, if not, the signal doesnt reach you! I have one set in my kitchen and when I take my laptop to my bedroom their is no signal to be found. Btw my bedroom is 25 feet away! What do you expect for 10 bucks though. Good if you live in a tiny trailer home, otherwise, pay more for a decent router.

Mine was junk. It worked for two weeks and then failed. No wireless, no wired routing. Of course, if you go for the rebate, you MIGHT get the check, but you certainly won't be able to RMA the thing when it breaks.

Had two of these, different revisions. Both worked very well in a large apartment until I upgraded to a N router (Trendnet as well, and works superbly). I've had good experiences with the brand, and also got all my rebates.

low quality router. performance is spotty at best. download at max speed (~2.0MB/sec) and it will likely drop the connection.

Get the $20 linksys and enjoy quality.

can't run any custom or open firmware on Trendnets. Might be worth $10 if it could run DD-WRT. WIth the poor wireless, I'd only get this if it were FAR

I appreciate the detailed comments. They are very helpful in decision making. I would like to know if there are other bargain hunting sites that you would recommend since I feel that I only come here for deals. Much appreciated. Thanks.
