    I think this is the one I setup for my folks. Works well but can't test the range since it's setup right by the computers. Just meant to get rid of the wires on the floor. Odd location of the desk makes for a lot of wire clutter.

    Paired this up with a cheap Airlink wireless dongle. I considered both cheap purchases.

    #4, that's true. I got one and it's not 100% reliable. It'll drop the connection once or twice a day.

    #1 the cheap airlink dongle I had did not work too well.

    your folks wanted wireless because they didn't want to see the wires?! even though the computers are next to the router.

    they are lucky I am not their relative. I would have told them to grow up and accept the wires to the computer.

    #6 I'd send it back. Mine has dropped a connection maybe half a dozen times in over 3 years.

    Pretty much junk. By a used linksys for the same price. Throw DD-WRT on it and forget it.
