Since when is hdmi limited to 16ft? I have been running a 50ft cable for years.
Those long cables are generally well built, highly shielded, and probably won't support a high resolution.
Also, I am amused that the extender only supports 1.65Gb/s
HDMI 1.1 is 4.95Gb/s
HDMI 1.3 is 10.2Gb/s
