polyester doesn't sound like it's going to be too durable....
I had a laptop bag for my 700m a few years back, I dropped the whole thing while going through security check at Chicago O'Hare. One of the Velcro straps tore, but the laptop only received minor cosmetic scratches.
Was it this exact bag that you had?
These aren't too bad, but do suggest not trying to pack too much into them as the stitching for the internal walls ripped pretty easily.
most people think that fbt has a pair of these strapped to his belt - gunslinger style -- but it's really only his fat ass. *FATTY*
Maybe we could get on backpack style.

business cases? wouldn't a business person have enough money for a better quality business cass? this case looks hella cheap, which it is.

This is not a laptop bag. This is just your plain vanilla bag to hold files and folders.
what i can say is that-- it looks like it has a lot of pockets; more room to put in things for the organized type of people where they need to segregate stuff.
