    This thing is supposedly Skype-only.

    We use a the MVox MV100 with IdeaSIP around the office here (works with any softphone, incl. Skype's software), and they've been quite useful.

    #2, it's just Skype Certified. The USR docs show how to use it with Skype, but it's not Skype exclusive. XP installs it as C-Media USB Headphone Set that can be used with any app.

    #3, yes. It's a USB 1.1 device.

    I'm not sure how useful this is... Maybe for corporate execs who can't fiddle with keyboard controls when a conf call is on the line via free VOIP.
