This will be some of the best money you will spend on your family. I watch them over and over. Entertaining enough for adults and kids. Try to get the Blu-Ray BBC version as said above.

If I recall, the Blue-ray and HD-DVD versions do not have the extra video at the end of each individual episode called 'Diaries', which is the making/filming of each episode. I've watched all the 'Diaries' after each video, and can say that it's a huge bonus to have. Not including it in Blu-ray or HD-DVD really sucks, IMO.

The standard DVD version does have it, BBC version, narrated by that British guy (as opposed to Siguorney Weaver).

In that case, stick with standard bbc.

What about Region code restriction. The ones in Amazon.co.uk are mostly Region 2/PAL. Will it play in DVD players in say India?

To hack your DVD player to pay Region 2, go to VCDHelp.com and search "hack"
