Thinking of pulling the trigger on a couple of these. Can anyone give a compelling reason I shouldn't? I want the 1200 height over 1080. Mostly looking for maximum real estate for price. I don't play games.
I bought this same monitor for same price a couple months ago and LOVE it! I do software programming on it 95% of the time, so more real estate and sharp text is very important to me and this monitor does the job perfectly for a very reasonable price. I'm thinking of buying another for a dual setup if the price goes lower. BUY IT - you won't regret it.
i ordered two of these on 1/4/12 when they had the same deal, and it arrived yesterday. so the estimated shipping date of the monitors are always a little later.
replaced a 28" and a 22" TN panel, definitely a big upgrade in the picture.
for those people interested in ordering, you can get an additional 5% cashback if you order through fatbacon cashback, which will be an additional $30 back.

I bought the Dell Touchscreen IPS 23" monitor for $239.00 a few months ago. The touchscreen works great on Windows 7 and Mac (via VMWare).
I'm in for 1.

Also does a very good job for movies, videos and pictures. Not sure about gaming, though.
