The shown U2412M is not bad, but with LED backlight does not produce accurate colors. And accurate colors is the whole point about getting an IPS panel.
From reviews I've read, this monitor produces perfectly accurate color in the sRGB colorspace, for which it was designed. For the vast majority of users, this is an excellent monitor. The only downsides are that it has no card reader and few inputs.
I happen to have this Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" LED/LCD and it is a fine display. WTF do you want for $320? It has 4-USB 2.0 ports and who wants a card reader on their display anyway except maybe iaDF? My card reader is on the front of my PC. This Dell UltraSharp U2412M is a great buy and simply blows away any TN paneled display. Well worth the $320 if you need, or want, a 24" LCD.
The coupon does not work with Dell's 30" monitor.
