I have a similar model of this uniden phone and the main problem is that after only a few months, the numbers got rubbed off of the buttons. The buttons aren't rubber, they're plastic and the paint I guess is just weakly applied.
Also, two phones can't be used simultaneously. That is, one handset must be put on "hold" for the other to be able to be active. And each phone makes a stupid (loud) chirp noise when it's put in the cradle. This noise cannot be shut off.

Anyone know if these are DECT capable?
