I saw an AT&T 6 cordless handset deal at Costco for $99.99. It was the same 6.0Mhz frequency as this deal. These phones have the same features, probably more, but the thing I liked about the AT&T phones is that they were longer in length and felt much better in your hand. I'd say they were maybe 2" longer. That makes a big difference. When I held it in my hand, it felt like I wouldn't easily drop it. The Uniden's? A different story.
I saw these Uniden cordless phones there and the quality isn't the same. They felt cheap and light in weight compared to the AT&T's..I couldn't find the AT&T phones on Costco's website but they are in the stores.
#1: I've got some length you can hold in your hand; I don't think you will be disappointed.
Bring some goggles to wear!

The Dr. is my hero.. I wondered when you would reign in on one of my comments..LOL!!
I have the model 1080. It works fine except for one really aggravating function. If you answer on one of the handsets and the call is for someone near another handset, they can't just pick it up and start talking. The original handset has to either "Transfer" the call or "Conference In" the other handset.
Either takes 5 separate button pushes. If you can remember what they are it would still be a pain in the a$$ but who can remember the steps?
I recommend you download the manual for this model and see if it has similar software. Then decide if you can tolerate this type of function.
