dude, when I worked at enterprise rent a car after college, the most popular question about the car would be, "do it got a kuh-sett playa?".

This is a literal "ghetto dog" product. Nice one Ben.

Dont buy this junk. The last time I tried one, it got stuck in the deck. I had to leave it in there even when I sold the car.

I have one of these, but not from these guys. Had it for a long time, can't remember where it came from. I use it to play an Ipod thru an old but still good sounding boom-box. It (the box) doesn't have any inputs, so this works great for that purpose. I did have to mod the door for the cable to exit, but who cares. For the nominal cost, it works fine, and I didn't have to spend money on a new interface for the Ipod.

I bought this to connect to my USB adapter to run my USB turntable from the back seat and really crank out some vinyl through my cassette deck...Now, all I need is an 8-track with a USB connection to complete the collection.

These things work a lot better than you might think. Problem is, do you have a cassette player in your car? I don't.

I had a Sony casette adapter that came with my $199 Discman back in 7th grade, it worked great, I lost it since never used after getting a CD deck in the car. Got one of these cheap crap things for a buck or so from a bens link and it was junk... lots of noise and sounded worse than AM radio. More enjoyable to listen to the engine rev. avoid

I bought a similar from Meritscum.com and it's a piece of baconnaise. It sends sound only in one speaker.

if it was bluetooth I would buy it. I have a couple older vehicles I rarely drive that still have cassette players but I dont like the wires coming out the cassette deck. Not worth replacing the decks with modern stuff in them either. ANALOG ROCKS!!

I don't understand why people complain about the sound quality of this product. If you are still using cassette deck in your car, upgrade the sound system!

Pay few dollars more and get a Sony one- you won't regreat.
#17 If the car still have tape deck - it is probably not worthy to spend $$ to upgrade anymore. A simple good quality adapter like Sony one - you can use your MP3 or Portable CD player or even your cellphone MP3 player in the car and get much better sound than FM transmitter. I tried several FM transmitters eventually return them for refund.....

You forgot about the USB reel-to reel deck.

I would go as high as 10 cents for an 8-track adapter.
