Bought this same unit on eBay and it lasted about 4 weeks. The gears inside that keep the clamps secure are plastic and break or wear out immediately. Otherwise, it was a very nice mount.
the pothook clips don't fit on my AC vents, but the suction onto the windshield works great
I just use the mount that came with my GPS.
