umm...no. buy a logitech harmony. please. it will be your best friend. for the same price, you can get a harmony 880
Universal remotes are the best. They are built well, the buttons are nice and big, full illumination, controls everything, just the right amount of buttons, feels good in your hand. The Harmony is hard to grip, buttons are too small, layout is too cluttered, feels cheap, tries to automate everything instead of just letting you push the button to directly control your component.
#2 is correct in his statement that URC remotes are the best. With that said, no remote is worth $86.
#3 you obviously don't have enough A/V equipment in your setup to require a "Real" control system! As my bedroom controller (RTI T3-V) alone retails for $1,199... Of course my dealer accommodation cost is much less... As far comparing URC vs Harmony, go with the URC. The only Harmony I would bother mentioning is the Harmony One, and only if you have 3 or less components it a direct line of sight. As far as Harmony's attempt to offer RF(890, 1000, etc) forget it!!
