Straight Talk is offering a pre-paid 30-Day Unlimited Talk, Text and Data Plan for $45/month. No contract, GSM network, can be used with any unlocked GSM phone (Straight Talk SIM card required).
I use Straightalk. How is this a 'good deal' over their regular pricing? If you get a phone with a SIM card then it is using ATT service. The phones with no sim card use Verizon. My daughter has a sim card and her service is not nearly as good as mine.
Straight Talk is great for Talk and Text, but slow for Web.
Get in line for when Republic Wireless (hopefully) opens their doors this summer. They plan on doing $20 for unlimited everything, using their custom handset that does calls over Wifi & Sprint otherwise. They do have the stipulation that they may kick you off if your Wifi vs cellular ratio is out of wack, but who isn't in a Wifi bubble 90% of the time?
No, you got it wrong.. . You'll end up paying twice as much for twice as bad service. However, all approved victim classes will get the shitty service for free...

I'm waiting for the upstart company Crooked Talk.

Will there be a Democrat Wireless? They may charge half of whatever the Republic Wireless charge, right?
