Are either of these good hosts? It's kind of ridiculous the $50 setup fee for the second one.

I don't know but they have been listed on this site just about every week. They must be paying Ben for advertising.
fatcow is garbage. Go with hostgator.com all the way. I'm no fan of godaddy, but I'd even pick godaddy over fatcow. Skim through my past posts for some more detailed horror stories about fatcow's poor services.
