FatCow sucks, I had them for a year, paid $2.95 a month. On renewal they go to the full price, of 8+ bucks a month. They assume people cant back up date, and move to a new host, so they just go a put the elephant di ck fu cking to you.

I told them they could keep my business if they come down to 5 bucks a month. They would not.
So I moved all 11 sites I had hosted on a single account.

Their shared server service is slow as ch rist, and you really HAVE to let them manage your DNS, because their shared servers changed IP's all the time. So be warned if you actually know what any of the above means.....if not, you'll be fine...but you will be fine with a Godaddy website tonight account too.

But at least you can get discounts on renewals at GoDaddy. I started there for under $3 a month and renewed for under $4 a month. As for the more technical details, I'm blissfully ignorant Smile.

GoDaddy supports SOPA. DO NOT support them unless you're a moron.

Right on, Go Daddy did and still does support SOPA. Please pass.

Guess it depends on priorities. They don't host anything for me but another firm who does, charges more and I've no inclination to try to negotiate a better deal or move sites for only single digit savings per month.
