yeah, i was going to buy an apple but i eventually decided on an hp....spent about half and got about 25% more of everything.
Ask any Mac fanboy and you will here the same "marketed" arguement. "It is better quality, you don't get infected, ..." Nothing like drinking the Apple kool-aid.

If you're a student or work for a company that supplies Apple with parts (there are a surprising number of these), you can often save this much or more purchasing directly from Apple.
#7 you have to pay taxes on it though. Most states dont have to pay taxes on macconnection and that saves a lot
damn no high res screens. pointless.
