I like the blue cash card listed at http://www.bacon.com better because they offer 5% cash back! Amex is a lot better in every sense.

The only problem with the amex blue cash card is you need to spend $6500 before the 5% cashback kicks in. I believe it's 1% otherwise.

My Citicard's 5% cashback already saved me hundreds of dollars.
Too bad it expired at the end of 3rd month and now is 1% cashback only.

Nice card. Is there a better one out there?

#2 is right. This citi card is much better than the amex.

I signed up when it was $250 not $50 after the first purchase. That was 2 years ago and I haven't seen that deal again. That said I use this card all the time and haven't ever had a problem with it.

isn't the chase card that gives you 3% cash back on your top 3 or 5 categories better than this? that seems more flexible.

What about the Discover More card? I believe that they have a lower limit before you can get to the 5%. Has anybody compared this to the Citi one or the AmEx Blue Cash? Let me know your opinion. Thanks!
