Through January 8th, Sport.woot! has a selection of seven Schwinn and Mongoose bikes up to 42% off. Shipping is $5. The pictured Schwinn S4014 Miramar 26" Men's Comfort Bike is $179 + $5 shipping = $184 shipped. Normally found for around $215 or more.
Keep in mind these are the Wall-e World quality Schwinn and Mongoose, not the same offerings as these brands from 20 years ago. (before they went under and became part of Pacific)
Cool. good price on bikes. Dave, maybe we could form a fast deployment tactical toilet papering squad riding these. We'll all deploy wearing an Every Day Carry Tactical Attack Day Backpack loaded with toilet paper rolls for a quick strike, fast attack squad. I've be planning a TP operation on Ragman's house...
Make sure return shipping is paid by the seller before buying a bike online. If your bike is defective, it will cost about $200 to ship it back. Also getting it back into the box is a nightmare.
With bikes, often you can work directly with the (brand office) manufacturer to get a faulty component replaced instead of having to return the entire bike, and have them send a prepaid shipping label if they want the faulty part returned.
How can you buy a bike that doesn't say what frame / person size it is?

Yep, just another rebadged Huffy. Nothing wrong with them, mind you, but they are abusing what once were quality names in bicycles.
^ True, but today's Mongoose is a LOT better than the Huffy of 20+ years ago.

True, #6. I had enough trouble getting a faulty desk chair back in the box, but at least they paid the return shipping.
