Shipping is $15 PLUS $5-15 if you want it delivered anywhere close to Mother's Day. No thanks.

Yeah. Nice scam Proflowers... $20 for a dozen crap roses, "free" vase, $9.99 standard shipping, $7.99 to deliver the day BEFORE Mother's day, extra $1.63 to ship the "free" vase, $2.93 fuel surcharge (WTF?) and suddenly your $20 roses cost almost $43. What a joke!

It is also going to be interesting to see if they actually deliver on the $43 roses. They supposedly ship from the farms in Columbia and Columbia is literally underwater right now. They have had flooding and had a mud slide today that knocked out the gas lines to the airport so they were having trouble getting the jet fuel to the tanker trucks to get it to the planes. Truly a mess in Columbia right now.

I ordered a Valentines Day rose arrangement from ProFlowers because of the "deal" here. Because of all the extra charges the final bill was *way* more than the popular local florist. Though it cost more, it sounded like a great product so I went ahead and ordered. The package was delivered on time by FedEx. The roses, greenery, babys breath and vase were all packed separately so she had to do her own amateur flower arranging. Looked just okay. The vase was overpriced. The roses didn't last long. ..Never again

Long ago they were worthwhile, but not so much any longer. And I +1 the comments on the costs. They charge for the break that the delivery guy takes and the time and labor to push out that nasty McD's turd too. This year I'm thinking about just getting my mom some herbal tea. A lot cheaper.
