I have a claim with the state attorney general against Columba. I bought a ski jacket. At least I thought I did. It was in the ski jacket department. I looks like any ski jacket anyone ever saw. One of the 10 or 12 tags on it said, "Keeps you warm in cold weather". I wore it skiing on a cold day and froze my a$$ off.
I emailed Columbia. They replied that it is a "spring/fall" jacket. There is no way anything attached to the jacket said anything like that. There is no one that has seen it that says it is anything other than a ski jacket. This is a $250 spring/fall jacket????? All I asked for is to exchange it for a ski jacket, even a $100 one if it keeps me warm while skiing. Their response, "only if defective". The main thing that was defective was the advertising.
Time will tell where this ends up. Just be sure what you buy from them.
