This is pretty handy, qick repair for if you sound card break on you, Plug-in USB and Automatic Sound pop up no driver needed, 5.1 got Mic plug also volume Hi/lo, and mute.
Best for Laptops if sound card break and desktop. I usually use this for movies, just plug this to the front USB and it auto cut off sound from speakers, Too nice I bought ten..
Some desktops and many laptops' integrated audio has terribly noisy analog output with switching PSU ripple artifacts introduced. This would be a cheap way to avoid that.
