I used a couple of these a long time ago when I needed some extra airflow in cases that didn't have very many spots to install fans. Also helpful at removing excess heat from around a hot video card. They are fairly quiet to start out but they clog easily and start to get noisy.

I haven't bothered with them in a few years now as most cases have plenty of spots for extra case fans.

Same here - good to draw air out, but after awhile they get noisy. Cheap way to help cool those cards, though...

Read Resellerratings about Nexfan before ordering! I ordered a couple of things from them in October and have yet to get a reply to numerous Emails and phone calls, even though they took their money fom my card the next day. Needless to say, I have never received my order either. Some very interesting reading on the BBB also. BUYER BEWARE! Ben, your continued postings of "deals" from them is also a bad reflection on you. If I were you I would drop them like a hot potato.

Call your credit card company and get your money back. That's why we use them.

Junk. They work for a couple of months & start to sound like a rattletrap.

What part of "Sleeve Bearing System" did you guys not understand?

Sleeve bearings are the cheapest, and suck mightily. They tend to fail quickly, but before they do, they get loud and the fan slows down.

"Sleeve Bearing System"= bushings, NOT bearings.

Great way to fill up that nice space on the motherboard with a worthless device. This thing is a retarded idea.
