excellent ear buds. I have the gun metal series and it will take a gun to make me part with em'
They are very good headphones, not some cheap imitations.
I had these (and the Vibe duo) for over a year and loved them. They are the most comfortable 'buds I had owned to that point and, for the price, I was happy with the sound quality. (I paid a bit more for these than current) Do be careful with the plug. If you get one with the older super-long straight plug, it may develop issues due to a questionable/poor design. VModa is apparently being good about repairing older sets with the issue. Most new sets should ship with the newer, angled plug. Having good hearing and high standards (NOT to my benefit!) I have moved up the slope of diminishing returns to a higher end pair of 'buds that sound as better than these as these did over the stock 'buds that came with my player. In retrospect, I can say that these do fatigue the ear after listening a while.
These buds are great. Tried a variety earlier in the year and for the money they have a nice balance and sound great with different types of music.
Have the gunmetal also. I'm not giving mine up either.
Good Deal? Possibly. But Buy.com does point you to Best Buy which has an even better deal on these. $60! Ok, ok! I'm lying, you actually get a better deal than that, you get to save one bacon double bacon burger! That and free shipping! You may have to pay tax though. Right now, they are backordered.
