$50 will get you a lot better MP3 player. This thing looks pretty in the pictures and the screen is ok as far as viewing. But the touch is horrible, the menu's are bad, the manuals are bad (this thing has 5 other versions with differnt names on it). it does work ok, but the TOUCH SCREEN is horrible, and for a touch screen device that (to me) is unforgivable.

Still waiting for the V-Pad.

I'm looking for something like this for my 2 year old neice. I only need it to play videos and have a speaker so you can hear them without headphones. I don't care about it playing music, games, radio etc. I am trying to keep it as cheap as possible so it isn't a big deal if she breaks it or loses it. Right now she uses my dad's iphone to watch videos when we are in the car, in a restaurant, shopping etc, but I'm worried she will end up breaking it. My mother was about ready to buy her an ipod touch, but I talked her out of that. I also looked at the kid tough DVD player, but that seems like more of a hassle dealing with discs all the time.
