Requires 2 year activation, a monthly data plan of $30 or $45.
yeah, what were they thinking with the data plans..bacon's only 2009.
Data plan = no deal.
That is if it's the same type of plan as the Blackberry's require. If it's the same unlimited I have now I'll have to think about it. I'm still a year into my current contract so I'll have to wait. My Versa does a lot of what this phone does.
This does have a few nice features though, like Wi-Fi and a 5mp camera with zoom(digital?) and geotagging.
Why would anyone want a Droid without internet access, plus almost every app is free. Love mine $29.00 unlimited....
Droid is the real deal and Verizon really dose have a complete coverage area. I was able to drive 200 miles and was never disconnected from 3G service. With ATT 3G I was lucky to go 10 miles.
i could actually live without the phone plan and just take the data.
verizon's network is more reliable than AT&T. AT&T just covers more area, but the service is terrible here in SF.
"$29.00 unlimited" from where??
I wish Sprint would hurry up and come out with these, their 3g/4g speeds rock and coverage is better then AT&T too.
can't wait to get a droid.
save up a nd get the iphone..
#11 That isnt always an option for some people. my area doesn't get 3G service from AT&T.
had best reception/coverage all around with Verizon over other carriers
Is it just me or does it look like a knockoff phone based on T-mobile MyTouch? At least it has a 5MP camera originality.
