Stupid FIOS is still not available in Northern California.
It's pretty much Vaporware as far as I'm concerned, doesn't seem to be available anywhere people live.

I have a question for anyone who's had this service for more than a year. Does Verizon jack up fees after the end of one year?
I've had Verizon FiOS service, in Texas, since 2005. Works great.
Initially had a Phone/Internet bundle that crept up in price over the years to reach $95/month with taxes.
Switched phone service to Ooma last November and now just pay for the FiOS internet: $55/month for 10Mbps/2Mbps.
#8 Yes - when the promo deal ends the price goes up. So then you just sign up for a new promo.
The $55 I'm paying for just internet is relatively high compared to the bundles, but I really don't need the bundles.
