Verizon Broadband is offering the FIOS Triple Play with FIOS TV, Internet, and Phone for $80/month. Includes a wireless router, premium installation, and a $300 Visa prepaid card with a 2-year contract.
sadly i am forced to use time-w-cable internet and cable for a mere $140 .being a long time customer i have no gripe with them offering new customers their triple play for $89.the other night they called with a better deal for a mere $30 dollars more($170) they would add phone service, when i asked about the newbies $89 dollar deal she said she would connect me with customer service i said k only to hear "estimated wait time for customer service is 25 min"
I started exploring FIOS. Lots of surfing around FIOS website using my T-W internet. The next thing I know I got an offer from T-W. Free phone for a year then $9.99 forever after that. Hummm.
These shysters pray on their customers by upselling. They get you hooked on a temporary lower rate then they reel you in when you find out everything you're missing on the teaser rate... BTW, you'll be paying quite a bit more after they add in taxes and junk fees as your bill creeps up over time. Don't be a frog in a pot of water on the stove for them...
