Through June 2nd, Verizon Broadband is offering the FIOS Triple Play with FIOS TV, Internet, and Phone for $75/month. Includes a wireless router and requires a 2-year contract.
There is wireless N, I could probably get them to put the router into bridge mode which would allow me to use my own router but I didn't have wireless N router before so I don't see the point to have to go out and buy a wireless N router.
Be warned, I signed up for a package deal and it was $15 more per month than what I saw on the verizon's website. The customer service agent told me no we don't offer that and said can you let me know the URL where the page shows this promotion. Fortunately for them the page was updated with other deals. The customer agent asked me for proof like a picture or something, I ended up being stuck with a 2 year contract for $15 more than what I was expecting to pay. I will take pictures, screen capture shots, before signing up for anything with Verizon, or could've been I got stuck with the bacon challenged of the day support agent at verizon that day.
I just got cablevision in NJ yesterday and only went with them for NO Contract So i'm not tied down with contracts and been running some speedtest and one site says it's solid So for $66.00 a month Tax and fees included + TV ( cheap local stations only) I can cancel anytime I want and walk away ! I watch netflix and veetle anyway so tv wasn't a big deal to me
you can't use your own router and I thought I read there's no wireless N if that means anything
