Verizon Broadband is offering the FIOS Triple Play with FIOS TV, Internet, and Phone for $85/month for one year. Includes a wireless router and premium installation.
Surf, shop and email for a great value. Ideal for casual Internet users, you not only get fast speeds, but you also get:
9 email accounts (everyone in the family can have their own). 10 MB of personal Web space (create your own blog or Web page). Not just fast, consistently fast.
If you live in a established community chances are FiOS will never be available. FYI. The number of people that switch off their current internet connection, usually Verizon DSL doesn't justify the cost to run the fiber optic lines. Plus you have the to be in a Verizon LAN line area to ever get the area converted to FiOS generally. Years ago Verizon did this but realized it wasn't worth it. Now if you are in a new housing tract then yes chances are either Uverse or FiOS will be available.
I got the $89.99 FIOS deal. When the bill came, they had tacked on all kinds of extras, (premium support, movie channels, etc), and bumped up the bill to $177.00 a month. After many phone calls over a few months to people intent on screwing the bill up in thier favor, I may have gotten it straight, but I doubt it. For instance, they tried to charge me $59.99 to cancel services that I did not sign up for in the first place. They are a bunch of crooks. Be careful when signing up. I live in Richmond Va.
had FIOS for 4 years, great performance 20/30 on the internet, phone free to all US, Canada and Mexico, and stellar (full HD) TV picture. They will lower your rate and give you free deals (premium channels) if you call and gripe about the package cost (I started at $99/mo, I am now at $80, all included.

What did you say to them in order to get a lower rate? I'm amazed they cut your costs so much.
I hope someone posts and explains how FIOS isn't available for them in the suburbs of burp, and this is therefore... not a deal.
Verizon FIOS is currently available in limited areas in 16 states. I guess burp is a much bigger place than I thought it was.....
Included with this plan:
High Speed Internet
