Or $8 for a standard box. And don't forget the joy of paying the electricity for these inefficient 'wonders'. The DVR burns 38 watts when on, 33 when off. That's about 24KW a month @ $.10/KW = $2.40 to add insult to injury.
^ Any links to support that claim? Unless it has a fan running when off it is nearly impossible for it to be consuming 33W at that point.

I realize Ben's is for cheap asses, but come on, that's ten quarters and you get change.
Depending on which package you go with they give you free Multi room DVR and one HD box free for 12-18 months.

^ Thanks but that is for recording and playback, not all the time it is turned on, let alone the time it is turned off.
