After having seen multiple people where these types of shoes I can now say you need to have a great deal of self confidence to pull them off. People can and will look at you sideways.
That's because they're for doughnut pluggers.

Birkenstocks still take the prize, especially when worn with socks. But these and crocks aren't far behind.
How about wearing crocks OVER these?
