Honeycomb is just around the corner. These, and most others currently out, will become obsolete immediately if they can't handle the update.
This one has the hardware to handle Honeycomb. I bought two from Woot with this in mind.
Is this the same one Woot was selling a few days ago for $290? $10 more is still a pretty good deal.
You can root the Nook Color with Honeycomb and it works (mostly). This is much more powerful so it will run Honeycomb just fine. And yes, this is the same device that was on Woot a few days ago. This is probably the "best" tablet out for ~$300.
Got a Nook through here on a B&N eBay $50 off sale, but they got me for $249 so I returned it. Rooted, it was very nice. I ended up with a Tab on sale for $199 from Verizon. I like it a lot better. To finance the $20 data plan, I stopped using my Droid and hard workerto my old feature phone. I'm money ahead and much more satisfied. PS I can surf and talk at the same time.
