this looks like the real 1080 HDTV resoluton (16:9 ratio).
too bad it does not have hdmi, but I am being picky. for this price it is a good deal IMO.

#1 it is better than 1680x1050

I don't have this monitor but I have the Acer H213H which is the same size/resolution and I have to say 1920x1080 looks great at 22''. This price looks pretty incredible actually and I'm quite tempted to get one or two for myself.

From the Veiwsonic web link provided above.
"Input select: D-SUB, DVI, HDMI PC, HDMI AV"
Then yes Egg is saying that ViewSonic X Series VX2260wm has HDMI and the picture show the input connector..bacon's so tempting!

Good deal for extra resolution compared to other 22 inch 1680x1050 screens if you don't mind slightly smaller pixels. Probably not a good idea if your monitor sits really far back on your desk and you don't have great vision.

Online and local in-store said none available. Called store anyway and CSR said 1 available. She did a visual check and found it! Got the last sealed one. BTW, my local store has this advertised for $199. Store manager had to PM to the website. Confirmed HDMI! Good deal on an all-purpose hi-def monitor.

Good deal. I'm waiting on the newer stuff though... And possibly a 24. Prices will come down quickly when the economy suffers.
